Our nation is strongest when security and liberty are not treated as opposing sides.

As Congress looks to reauthorize FISA, it must include the protections Americans are guaranteed under the Constitution.

Read my latest in the Washington Examiner:

Almost any business or organization with a computer, Wi-Fi router, server, or internet connection can be forced to help the NSA collect communications.

In the House Agriculture Committee, it was an honor to speak with Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins about ensuring our farmers are put first.

Under the previous administration, DEI policies moved the USDA away from its core mission of serving the hardworking men and women who feed, fuel, and strengthen America.

That is why I introduced the Equal Treatment for Farmers Act to build on the Trump Administration’s reforms and strike discriminatory race- and gender-based classifications from the U.S. Code. Every farmer deserves to be treated equally under the law, and I will continue fighting for our agricultural communities.

House Republicans are delivering on our promise to secure the border. Through reconciliation, we are going to fully fund ICE and CBP.

This Democrat shutdown should never have happened, but we are committed to doing our job and getting this bill to President Trump’s desk.

After hearing from Cabarrus County families about biological males being allowed in girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms, I worked with the Department of Education to make sure these concerns were taken seriously. Now, a Title IX investigation has been opened.

Our daughters and granddaughters deserve protected spaces and school leaders who will stand up for them.

In the House Judiciary Committee, we advanced five bills to protect the integrity of the Supreme Court, remove dangerous alien gang members from our neighborhoods, and defend American workers and industries from international trade crimes.

These commonsense bills will help keep communities safe, protect American jobs, and hold bad actors accountable. I was proud to support them in committee and look forward to supporting them on the House Floor.

In the House Education and Workforce Committee, we examined how artificial intelligence is reshaping higher education and the workforce.

As America competes to lead in the AI race, colleges and universities must prepare students for the jobs and challenges of the future.

AI is already changing how students learn, how faculty teach, and the skills employers are looking for. As these changes continue, we must ensure innovation is paired with responsibility so AI strengthens, rather than undermines, educational outcomes.

I’m fighting to ensure North Carolina students and workers are prepared to thrive.

I am grateful for local leaders like Laura Lindsey who are standing up for girls in Cabarrus County.

No mother should have to worry about her daughter being forced to share a bathroom or locker room with a biological male at school.

I will continue working with the Department of Education to make sure Cabarrus County Schools follows Title IX and keeps our daughters and granddaughters safe.

NC-08’s advanced manufacturing industry proves that a four-year degree is not the only path to success.

As a member of the Education and Workforce Committee, I’m working to expand career pathways that prepare students for good-paying jobs and help build the workforce of the future.
