A special update for our community: our matching gift opportunity has been EXTENDED through June 30!

When Olivia came to us, she was 17, pregnant, and scared. She didn’t yet know there were people in Maine ready to support her and help her build a brighter future.

Because of caring supporters like you, families facing difficult moments can find hope, stability, and compassionate care.

Now through June 30, every gift can go TWICE as far while matching funds last — doubling your impact for Maine children and families.

If you’ve already given, thank you. If you’ve been meaning to give, this is a wonderful time to help.

Give today: https://mainechildrenshome.app.neoncrm.com/forms/51

Have you ever thought, “Why did no one ever tell me that?!”

It can happen in small moments… or in life-changing ones.

What you don’t know can hurt you.
And it can affect the people you love most—including your kids.

That’s what happened when Olivia came to Maine Children’s Home at just 17, pregnant and unsure of how she could finish high school and become a good mom.

We asked her what she wanted for her future.

“How can I be a good mom and graduate?” she said.

“You can do both,” her Journey Program advisor told her. “We’re here to help—with classes, supplies, and support every step of the way.”

Olivia didn’t just get support—she got confidence.

“I graduated with my baby on my hip,” she later said. “I’m really proud of that.”

Today, she’s building stability for her family and raising her daughter with confidence and teamwork.

This is what your support makes possible.

Please consider giving today to help another Maine family access life-changing support when they need it most.

💙 And right now, your gift will be DOUBLED through matching funds.

What if one conversation changed the course of your life?

At 17 and pregnant, Olivia came to Maine Children’s Home overwhelmed and afraid she’d have to choose between graduating and becoming a good mom.

Then she heard something she’ll never forget:
“You can do both.”

Through parenting classes, education support, and caring guidance, Olivia found stability, confidence, and hope for her family’s future.

Today, she says:
“I graduated with my baby on my hip.”

Right now, more Maine families need that same support — and your gift can help provide it.

Thanks to matching funds, every donation made today will be DOUBLED to help families access life-changing services when they need them most.

Give now and double your impact. 💙

We were incredibly proud to attend the Governor’s Awards for Service and Volunteerism Ceremony in Augusta and celebrate Kelsey Glynn’s recognition on the Young Maine Volunteer Roll of Honor!

The Youth Roll of Honor recognizes young people across Maine, age 18 and younger, who dedicate 50 or more hours of volunteer service each year. In 2025, Kelsey contributed an outstanding 91 hours of service to our community!

Kelsey’s dedication, generosity, and willingness to give back are truly inspiring. Volunteers like Kelsey help strengthen our communities and make Maine a better place for everyone.

Congratulations, Kelsey, on this well-deserved honor — and thank you for the difference you make every day!

Our clinicians will begin seeing clients in the center by late July ahead of a planned September 2026 grand opening. More to come on this soon!

Coming this year!
We're working on a coordinated family support center that brings mental health counseling, adoption, targeted case management, and young parent support together in one connected, accessible building.

"The new space will increase capacity, allowing [Maine Children's Home] to serve more clients and hire additional clinicians. Maine Children’s Home annually serves close to 3,000 people of all ages."
