✨ Community generosity is already helping us prepare for the holiday season!

We’re so grateful to Kennebec Behavioral Health for collecting toys and winter essentials through our Christmas in July campaign. Your team helped gather donations that will become part of care packages for children and teens served through our Christmas / Winter Essentials Program.

It takes a community to make the holidays brighter, and we’re thankful to have partners like you helping make sure children and teens feel supported, cared for, and remembered this season.

🎁 The giving season is already underway at Maine Children’s Home!

We had a wonderful turnout at our volunteer orientation for the Christmas / Winter Essentials Program. Both new and returning volunteers joined us to learn how we prepare care packages filled with winter clothing, hygiene items, and gifts for children and teens across Maine.

And this is just the beginning! ❤️ We’re looking for volunteers now through December to help make sure children and teens have what they need to feel cared for and remembered this holiday season.

Join us as we celebrate an exciting new chapter for Maine Children's Home! 🎉

We're thrilled to welcome our community to the Grand Opening of the Center for Families in the newly renovated Lunder Building.

The Center for Families brings family support programs and services under one roof, providing mental health counseling, adoption services, young parent support, and targeted case management for children, adults, and families across Maine.

Come help us mark this special milestone and see how this beautiful space will serve children and families for years to come.

THANK YOU! 💙

A huge thank you to the incredible campers from Camp Runoia for spending time volunteering at Maine Children's Home! Their hard work planting beautiful flowers in front of our Welcome Center and refreshing our playground with new woodchips has made our campus even more welcoming for the children and families we serve.

As we begin preparing for another season of providing Christmas gifts and winter essentials to children and teens across Maine, we're looking for volunteers who want to make a difference.
