🚨ARRESTS MADE. SUSPECTS IDENTIFIED.🚨

Two suspects are now in custody for the killing of Caldwell County Deputy Constable Aaron Armstrong.

• Thomas Vences, 38 — charged with capital murder of a peace officer, extensive criminal history
• Ronaldo E. Colindres Simon, 22 — charged with assault on a peace officer after running over Deputy Armstrong while fleeing

Deputy Armstrong was in uniform, clearly identified himself as law enforcement, and was wearing his body worn camera while making a lawful arrest. He was shot and then deliberately run over.

This was not an accident.
This was a violent attack on a Texas peace officer.
