Apologies for the technical difficulties we are experiencing this morning. Unfortunately, we will not be able to stream today's events via Teams and YouTube. Here are the questions residents will be discussing this morning:

What are your funding priorities for the City -- What should the City Council prioritize in the budget?

How would you like to see the City balance the budget?

What feedback would you give the City Council on the sales tax referendum?

Are there any proposals from the sales tax referendum you think the City should still address? If so, how should they be addressed?

How would you answer these questions? Please share your feedback at [email protected].

Wichita District 4 Vice Mayor Glasscock and I were happy to host the Coalition for Western Sedgwick County meeting this afternoon at Wichita Park & Recreation's Auburn Hills Golf Course Clubhouse. In addition to discussions on property taxes, state legislation, and Sedgwick County Government Fire District #1, we were given an update from former Wichita District 5 Council Member Bryan Frye representing the Northwest Expressway Coalition. While the Kansas Department of Transportation/Kansas Department of Transportation - South Central Kansas feasibility study for the project will look at traffic and safety, the Coalition is focusing on the economic aspect this kind of corridor would bring to west Wichita and western Sedgwick County. I am a big supporter of the Northwest Expressway and believe it is essential to manage growth, mobility, and future development. Thank you to REAP Of South Central Kansas Executive Director Dr. Marcy Aycock for helping to facilitate today's meeting.
