This past week we had the privilege of having photo journalist Emily Widman from The Mountain Workshops come and visit our program and go on some outings and hang out with our STRIDE crew. What a beautiful fall day to visit Three Feathers Farm in Stanton Thursday. Animals to visit, huge playground, train rides and a picnic lunch…what a day🥰. (Yes, that’s a chicken on their shoulder)

“Chicken-fil-A” and Barnes & Noble were on our agenda yesterday. And what a fantastic time! Socializing, making new friends and shopping…what a day! Thank you Chick-fil-A Hamburg Place for the wonderful service!

Advenger’s Friday Fun! Everyone decided they needed a superhero day….and BAM!💥 We crawled through a “cave like Ironman, we threw Thor’s hammer, we Hulk smashed, we posed like Black Widow, and shot a bow & arrow like Hawkeye. We also created our own Captain America shield and worked on our speed with a catching activity. What an amazing day! Videos to come!!!

UPDATE: We had such amazing responses that we are no longer in need of photographers to volunteer. We will be reaching out to everyone who commented to see how they can be involved and also possibly being involved in future Stride events that we would love to have photographed. Thank you all!

We are looking for a few volunteer photographers to come out to the Special Olympics Flag Football Tournament on Sunday November 8th at GRC in Wi******er from 8:45am-2:00pm. Help capture this amazing day for these incredible athletes. Interested? Email us at [email protected]. Thanks!

(Football post 2 of 2) We had a great time at the Special Olympics of Kentucky Regional Flag football tournament at Thomas More College this weekend! Congrats to all 4 Stride teams! Here are a bunch of photos of all our teams. Thank you to everyone who took photos of the event. Special shoutout to Northern kentucky special olympics for sharing so many great photos!
