Tourism and a Czech-led re-forestation project by non-profit entity Trees for Albania run in Lura National were topics of meetings of Amb. P.Vacek in Dibra region on 8 SEP 2026. He discussed the plans of Lura Park with Alma Selami/MP for Peshkopi and the regional director of AdZM & Mayor of Fushë Lurë. Meeting at Peshkopi with Mayor R.Spahiu and Prefect N.Shehu focused on tourism development in the region, incl. Czech assistance in marking tourist trails.

Czech 🇨🇿Ambassador handed over a donation of physiotherapeutical devices worth € 40k for QSUNT hospital of Tirana. The donation funded by 🇨🇿MFA and 🇨🇿 company BTL was received by the director of QSUNT hospital Ms. Rudina Degjoni.

Czech Embassy has contributed to the 2026 Europe Week’s Open Space by a jazz piano soirée by Albanian virtuoso Genti Shahini who performed pieces by himself and big names of modern jazz and a mini-exhibition of five new oil paintings by Alice Taylor, a British journalist and artist based in Tirana. A cocktail for Albanian and CD visitors was hosted by the Czech Ambassador.
