The team at Collegiate Pool would like to wish Tessa Yu and HC Swim Club Coach Sam Ashby all the very best as they head to the 2026 Australian Swimming Trials this week.

Many of you will know Tess as one of the staff at Collegiate Pool. This Wednesday, she will be racing, in the 50m Breaststroke.

Balancing full-time work, training and university study, Tess' journey highlights some of the life skills swimming can help develop, including resilience, discipline and time management. Tess is grateful for the support of the Collegiate Pool and communities throughout that journey.

We wish both Tess and Sam every success and look forward to following their week.

If you think you may have left something at the pool please check PRIOR to Tuesday 16 June 2026, as lost property will be cleared on this date.

We are closed 3 April to 7 April for the Easter long weekend.

No lessons, casual swimming or membership swimming during this time. We hope everybody has a safe and enjoyable break!

It was great to see swimmers from learn to swim and Collegiate’s recent Swimming & Water Safety Program practice their skills across a range of events when we hosted the Collegiate Year 3/4 carnival!

Congratulations to our Year 3 and 4 students who competed in the House Swimming Carnival recently! 🌟

Students did an outstanding job in the pool, supporting one another and competing to the best of their ability. It was fantastic to see such great enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the day.

Our Year 5 and 6 students who nominated also took part in Swimming Trials, competing for a place on the JSSATIS Swimming Carnival team.

A huge thank you to our wonderful Year 8 leaders, staff, Swimming Captains, and the team at the Collegiate Pool for their support and assistance.

Well done to all students who took part in the pool today, and we wish those selected to represent the school at the JSSATIS Swimming Carnival on Thursday 19 March the very best of luck!

CAR PARKING - COLLEGIATE POOL

Good news - free car parking is available for Collegiate Pool users Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Civic Club, 134 Davey Street. The car park is not accessible outside these hours. We will review in the future the same arrangements for Saturday and Sunday Families. See the map below for the exact spaces; please park only in the areas shown - car parks closer to the building are reserved for elderly visitors to the Civic Club.

A parking pass must be displayed on your windscreen while using these spaces. If you'd like a pass, please email [email protected]. Passes are valid March-July; new passes will be issued for August-December.

To help students make 4:00 pm classes, we suggest dropping students at the turn circle, then families or guardians drive through to the car park to secure a space. Please note we are unable to provide parking for clients attending the 3:30 pm classes.

We're excited this will assist people visiting the Collegiate Pool and make attending classes easier for families.
