Today is Mabo Day.

It marks the 1992 High Court decision led by Eddie Koiki Mabo, which overturned the idea of terra nullius and recognised the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to their land.

Pride Month is a time to recognise, celebrate and support LGBTQIA+ communities.

In NSW, everyone - regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity - should feel welcome, valued, and able to live authentically and with pride.

Everyone deserves to be respected for who they are.

We’re excited to be at the CORE GWS Sport Gala 2026 today with CORE Community Services! 🙌⚽

More than 500 newly arrived refugee and migrant students from Intensive English Centres across Western Sydney will be coming together to connect through community sport.

Today, we acknowledge National Sorry Day – a day to recognise the ongoing impact of the forced removal of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children from their families, known as the Stolen Generations.

At Anti-Discrimination NSW, we reflect on the truth of our shared history and honour the strength and resilience of Stolen Generations survivors, their families and communities.

Saying “sorry” is not just about the past – it is about listening, learning and committing to a future built on respect, understanding and justice.
