The Department of State Development, the Office of the Industry Advocate and Tactic invite local and regional businesses to attend Whyalla Major Project Connect.

This event will bring together suppliers, South Australian Government agencies and major project buyers for an afternoon of valuable conversations and new connections.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet directly with major buyers, learn about upcoming projects, work packages and procurement requirements, and gain insight into positioning their business for future opportunities.

As Whyalla navigates a significant period of transition, this event will showcase the strength, skills and capability of businesses across Whyalla and the Upper Spencer Gulf. It will also help major buyers discover capable regional suppliers and strengthen their local supply chains.

🌾 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐧-𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐦 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲

Primary producers can access rebates of up to $20,000 through Round 3 of the Australian Government’s On Farm Connectivity Program.

The program can cover up to 50% of the cost of eligible equipment designed to improve digital connectivity, productivity and safety on-farm. Eligible technology includes connectivity equipment, environmental monitoring, farm management systems, and remote automation and control equipment.

Primary producers access the rebate through an Approved Supplier, who applies on their behalf. Eligible producers generally need an ABN registered for at least 12 months and average annual gross income between $40,000 and $4 million over the specified three financial years.

📅 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝟏𝟓 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐚𝐭 𝟓.𝟎𝟎𝐩𝐦 𝐀𝐄𝐃T, or earlier if available funding is fully allocated. Applications from producers who have not benefited from previous rounds will be prioritised.
