Valour Place- a comfortable, temporary, fully accessible residence for soldiers, RCMP, veterans and The Valour Place committee, led by Hon. Col.

Dennis Erker, of the Loyal Edmonton Regiment, was been struck to raise $10 million to build and furnish the proposed 10,000 square foot facility of Valour Place. The board and committee membership has been drawn from both the civilian and military communities. All share a connection to the Canadian Forces. Some are current members of the CF, some are volunteers with military associations, some hav

e traveled to Afghanistan and some have family members who have served or who are currently serving with the CF. All committee members strongly endorse and support Valour Place as an important addition to the quality of life we enjoy in Edmonton. The vision for Valour Place in Edmonton has come from within this group of dedicated volunteers. It is our intention that the vision will be realized with the construction of a state of the art facility for injured soldiers and veterans and their families who do not reside in Edmonton.

Nicole and Gabrielle searched all over Edmonton for barrier-free support while Gabby goes to rehab. Valour Place was the only accommodation that fit what their family needed.

Not just a ramp at the front door. It's a place that feels like home when everything else is uncertain. It’s cheerleaders that feel like family and help you heal even when you’re far from home.

Look who just smashed the marathon! 💪🏃‍♂️

On August 16th, board member Pierre Blais (Veteran) and Kevin Shumard (Veteran) ran their hearts out during the Servus Edmonton Marathon and fundraised for Valour Place - helping military members, veterans, first responders, and their families get the care they need.

This fall, gather your team for our Who's Cooking program and prepare a cozy dinner for the families staying at Valour Place.

Looking for a great days-of-service activity? Bring up to 15 people from your company and cook a meal for our guests (about 36 people to feed!) - whether you'd rather cook on-site or prep it at home and bring it over, we'll make it work!

Valour Place provided families 3,037 nights of stay last year - a place to land while a loved one gets medical care in Edmonton.

It’s back! Walk for Valour is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and we’re aiming to raise $50,000 this year to continue to support Canadian Forces members, Veterans, Police, Families of the Fallen, First Responders, and their immediate families in their time of need.

Registration opens 9AM, walk/run kicks off 10AM at Sir Wilfrid Laurier Park. Plus, there’s Canadian-themed activity stations and prize draws after!
