“The gift of time is priceless.”

For the past 14 years, Chuck has generously given his time to Valour Place, helping at events, completing repairs around the house, serving on the board, and driving our guests where they need to go.

Thanks to the recent van donation, that support goes even further. The new vehicle will make it easier to transport guests to medical appointments, treatment centres and other essential care services.

Thank you Chuck, for your dedication, compassion, and the countless hours you've given to our community! Thank you, Don Wheaton, for making this possible!

📍 Grand Villa Casino at Rogers Place

We have spots open for all roles - General Manager, Banker, Cashier, Chip Runner, and Count Room - with day and night shifts available. Casino advisors will guide you through everything, so no experience needed. Just show up and have fun with us!

Every dollar raised helps keep Valour Place running for the families who need us.

Meet Laxmi, our Summer Student at Valour Place!

Laxmi just started with us this week and she's already proving to be a shining star, jumping right into our design and marketing projects.

She's currently working toward her Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting at the University of Alberta, with a minor in Sociology, and she's super excited to expand her experience in the non-profit sector.

With loads of volunteering experience, Laxmi can't wait to give back! She knew Valour Place was the perfect fit to gain real work experience while doing something that truly fills her cup.

This summer, she'll also be working to keep things running smoothly in-house whether it’s helping with marketing, jazzing up internal sheets and processes or supporting our in-house events.

We're so excited to have you on the team this summer, Laxmi!! We know you're going to be a rockstar! 🙌
