The 'Tis the Season for Spooky Reading Beanstack Challenge is almost halfway done!

Did you notice that the books in the ticket section of the app are not the only prizes in this challenge? For patrons who read 990 minutes (roughly 32 minutes a day through October) you will earn yourself a small bag of candy that you can pick up at the library.
Please note: Library staff will only be checking for completion of this badge on Monday afternoons. Once you complete this badge, please allow for a few days for staff to update the list.

Interested in joining the Beanstack Challenge? Never fear! You can join right up until the last day, October 31st, and earn some spooky badges. To join, follow the steps below:
- Download the Beanstack app
- Search for Yellowhead Regional Library
- Register yourself for an account and add any additional readers from your household who would like to participate (everyone who wants to participate in this challenge will need their own reader account)
- Once registered, click the discover button at the bottom of the page and click challenge code (this step will need to be done for each reader you are signing up)
- Enter SPOOKYREADS and you are ready to start reading!

The library will be closed Monday, October 12th for Thanksgiving. Have a safe and happy long weekend!
