✨ Joining in on ArtWalk Nelson's Opening Night?

Don't forget to stop by the Nelson Public Library and chat with Jane Merks, a talented local textile artist!

Through natural dyes, embroidery, and modern quilting, Jane’s work brings landscapes to life in a beautifully tactile and unexpected way. Think soft earth tones, rich textures, and a creative process that embraces experimentation and imperfection.

🗓 Friday, June 26
⏰ 6:00–9:00 PM

Drop in, meet the artist, and experience her thoughtful approach to textile art as part of ArtWalk’s Opening Night.

🎉1,000 Paper Cranes! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who folded cranes for the Paper Crane Project. We’ve officially reached our goal of 1,000 cranes! 💛

Each crane represents hope, and together they carry wishes for peace and good health.

We’d also like to give a special shout-out to the Nelson Izu-shi Friendship Society and the Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy. Your amazing support helped make this possible!

✨ Now, let’s all take a moment to make a wish. ✨
