🚨 **Forest Fire Danger Alert** 🚨

This afternoon, the MNR has placed East Gorham and surrounding areas under an Extreme Forest Fire Danger Rating.

Please exercise extreme caution outdoors. Avoid any activities that could spark a fire, follow all fire restrictions, and report any signs of smoke immediately.

With current conditions, fires can start easily, spread rapidly, and become difficult to control.

Stay safe, stay alert, and help protect our community and surrounding forests. 🌲🔥

❌ Absolutely NO daytime burning is permitted.

✅ Burning is only allowed starting 2 hours before sunset.

🚒💪 Team East Gorham showed up strong at The Big Red Pull💪🚒

What an incredible day for East Gorham Fire & Rescue. Not only did our team raise an amazing $2515 for United Way, but we also put up a great time in the pumper pull AND took home the award for Best Team Spirit. 🏆🎉

This accomplishment would not have been possible without the support from our community, friends and families. Thank you to everyone who donated, cheered us on and helped make this event a success. Your generosity and encouragement mean so much to our team.

During this time:
