Dew Drop Inn Thunder Bay St. Andrew's Dew Drop Inn soup kitchen was established in 1981 to address the needs of the hungry in the community of Thunder Bay.

The Dew Drop Inn is open 7 days a week and currently during the pandemic we offer a cold take-home lunch from 9 am to 3:30 pm or a hot take home meal from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. We provide a safe, welcoming environment where hungry men, women and children can access food with no questions asked and are treated with respect and dignity..

Thank you so much to these two gentleman from the Thunder Bay Correctional Centre Farm Program who stopped by this afternoon. They brought with them over 300 lbs of produce including beets, cucumbers, cauliflower, zucchini, broccoli & peas. How amazing is that?! We all know nothing beats the taste of local and we can not wait to use these fresh vegetables in our kitchen. Thank you so much for the role you play in our compassion. We could not do what we do without community support such as this.

Thank you so much to our friends from Carpenters Union Local 1669 who sponsored our full Thursday. Carpenters Union Local 1669 have been longtime supporters of the Dew Drop Inn and we are so thankful for the role you play in our compassion kitchen. Today on the menu we had to put a fan favorite. We are serving shake & bake pork chops with rice, braised cabbage and a side sandwich as an extra. All of our hot meal are served with choice of dessert & beverage aswell as our daily soup. Many smiling faces enjoying this meal today. It is thanks to community support such as this that we are able to serve a good meal each day.

Ted and The Polish Combatants' Association have been long time supporters of the Dew Drop Inn. Today Ted stopped by to say hi and dropped off some delicious perogies, cabbage rolls & fried chicken for our compassion kitchen. Isn't that wonderful?!
