We were proud to support production of the Meeting Point space at this year's Design Victoria within the Rotunda building.

The installation was designed by Carrie Smart, Maureen Elmer, Rick Clark, Breanne Des Roche and Jigna Vala, winners of the Meeting Point Co-Design Challenge. The concept was designed to spark creativity and community connection throughout the festival. Our team cut the plywood parts for the large "DV" and the benches. We also produced the collection of sandwich boards that can be reused each year at the festival, seen in the final photo.

Logo wall designed by Becoming Design Office and produced by our team for Design Victoria 2026. Featuring 3D printed lettering, onsite at the launch party at Cantu Bathrooms and Hardware last night. We had a blast at the launch party and are looking forward to more Design Victoria events this weekend!

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming the Camosun College Fine Furniture program students to our shop for the fourth year running. What makes this tour extra special: two of our staff - Dan and Leanne - are graduates of the Camosun program. Watching them field questions from current students, passing on what they know, is exactly the kind of full-circle moment that reminds us why this industry is worth investing in. Every visit is a little bit of a time capsule. The shop looks different each year, the tools are better, the systems are tighter, and the conversations go deeper. It's become one of our favourite annual markers of how far we've come. To the students who came through: keep building. You're going to do great things!

We are thrilled to introduce our staff member Kalyssa Gagnon, CAD and Production Technician. Kalyssa has been taking our design team capacity to the next level and has wielded her technical skills on the shop floor too. Kalyssa graduated from Emily Carr University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Design in Industrial Design. Following her degree, she worked in the forestry industry as an operator in a dimensional lumber mill, before relocating to Victoria later in 2025.

Her lifelong passion for creating, problem solving, working with her hands, and her love to learn has allowed her to gain experience in many mediums such as woodworking, textiles, 3D printing, photography, CAD and drafting. She enjoys the process of bringing projects to life and experiencing all stages of production. Kalyssa looks forward to furthering her skills as part of the Toolpath Design team.

We've been a little quiet on here as the new year rolls in, as we've been deep in planning for exciting new things with our business!

2025 saw a rapid expansion of our product line. We are anticipating strong further growth, particularly in supporting multi-unit builds.
New machinery, enhanced productivity tools and processes, and a cabinet product catalogue planned for 2026!
