We are loving the characters the youngsters have created when they joined the Summer Reading Quest this week. It runs in the mornings from 10am-1pm. (Saturday & Sunday too!)
Children of all ages can sign up at any time during the school holidays to start their journey.
They don’t need to read a set number of books – our summer reading programme is designed to encourage children to enjoy reading at their own pace in a fun, interactive way. Reading for pleasure helps children build self-esteem and improve wellbeing throughout life.

Calling all local young detectives living in the Clare area. You probably heard the rumour that the library staff locked the medals in the old safe and lost the code. Well, all is not lost, we have begun to find clues! Join this year's Summer Reading Quest and help us crack the code!

Check your blood pressure at home by borrowing one of our blood pressure monitors from Clare Library.
Suffolk Community Libraries has partnered with NHS Suffolk and North East Essex to make blood pressure monitors available for people to borrow from their local libraries.
