🎼 It's just two weeks until Summer Reading Challenge 2026 launches!
Look out for library staff coming to your school in the next couple of weeks to tell you all about it 🎶 🎵

🎼 This year the theme is 'Read to the Beat', and across our libraries we have a host of fab music-related activities to really get you into the swing of things.

🎼 This year things are a little different - instead of reading 6 books over the summer, children can set their own reading challenges (and there's a welcome pack full of ideas to get you going!)

🎼 Aimed at children 4-11, you can sign up at any Norfolk Library.
Plus there's even a mini-challenge for the little ones, so everyone can join in.

🎼 Launch day is Saturday 4 July, and you have the whole summer to sign up and join the fun.

Craft club this week happened thanks to our volunteer Kniiters & Stitchers. These ladies prepare and present an amazing craft for all the children to make and take home once a month for us as part of our weekly Friday Crafts. A big thank you goes out to them for giving us their time & the materials they supply. We really do appreciate everything.
Craft club runs every Friday 5pm-6pm alongside Lego Club. Everyone Welcome, no booking necessary.

🏳️‍🌈 Cromer LGBTQ+ Events – June Meet-Up

The next Cromer LGBTQ+ community gathering is this Sunday 14th, from 4:00–6:00pm at Felbrigg Village Hall.

🌈 A friendly, welcoming space to meet people, chat, make connections, and be part of the local LGBTQ+ community.

📍 Felbrigg Village Hall, The Green, Felbrigg, Norfolk, NR11 8PN.

Please note from Wednesday 10th June for approximately 2 weeks our Baby Weigh Scales will be unavailable as they have gone to be recalibrated. Alternative Baby Weigh Scales are available Sheringham Library or Mundesley Library.
We will keep you posted here of their return.
