If you're one of the many families that come to our Saturday Bookbug Sessions you probably know about the magical musical sessions led by Tom! He was nominated for the Book Trust’s 2026 Bookbug Hero Award which celebrates those who go above and beyond for children and families! With his guitar skills and fun, playful tunes, he's become a rising star! Thank you Tom for all you do 💕

We have Bookbug sessions every week on Thursdays and Saturdays at 11:15, no booking required. 😊

We recently had a visit from one of our local school primaries, the students participated in a zine-making workshop! Their artwork is now up on display until the end of the month, make sure to check out their zines on your next library visit!

What's a zine (pronounced like maga-zine) are small, hand-made booklets, print works, art books. They are made cheap and easy to photocopy, they can be about anything but usually center on under represented groups or ideas.

Did you know that there's a zine bothy in Inverness? It is located within Circus Artspace, check out their website: https://www.zinebothy.uk/visit-us
