Wander round the largest market square in Yorkshire and enjoy the calmness and peace reminiscent of days gone by. But don’t be deceived by the calm atmosphere – we are a buzzing and lively community and there is always something to do and see. Spend some time with us and you will soon come to appreciate the lively lifestyle and beautiful countryside that is waiting to be discovered! Our Community Office is the old Police House off the Market Square and is home to Mashamshire Community Library and the Masham Flock Gallery where local artists display and sell their work. Our wonderful volunteers are local and have a wealth of knowledge about the area and attractions.

Little City - North Yorkshire are heading to Grewelthorpe C of E Primary School on Thursday 29th October at 10am for a morning of role-play fun!

Let the little ones run their own shops, play vet with our furry friends, and explore a whole mini city built just for them. Meanwhile, the grown-ups can grab a hot coffee while they play and learn.

Our Tuesday morning monthly walks are back from tomorrow 6th October. If you want a walk up to Spelder Banks, round Marfield and back along the Ure come and join us outside the MCO at 10am for a set off at 10:15am.

Some volunteers have helped for over 40 years so we pounce when we spot fresh blood! Big thanks to Luke from Bishopton Veterinary Group who came to the Sheep Fair to check some biosecurity forms and ended up staying for two full days as an active volunteer helping to unload and load sheep, sort out pens, answer questions and be a great support.
