👏 Congratulations to North West Young Worker Charlie Davies! 👏

A fantastic achievement as Charlie took to the stage at TUC Congress to speak on the important issue of Guaranteed Hours.

Charlie was alongside fellow Usdaw Rep Angela and Paul Nowak, TUC General Secretary, helping to make the case for greater security and fairness at work.

✊ Workers should have a contract that reflects their working week. Everyone deserves the security of knowing how many hours they can expect to work, rather than being left uncertain from week to week.

It’s brilliant to see young workers like Charlie making their voices heard and standing up for better rights and conditions for working people.

Well done, Charlie — you did us proud! 🌹👏

🎂💜 HAPPY 27th BIRTHDAY ASH! 💜🎂

A massive Happy Birthday to Ash Clark, who turns 27 today! 🥳🎉

Unfortunately, hitting the grand old age of 27 means Ash has officially aged out of the North West Young Workers’ Committee 😭👴😂

Ash has been a fantastic member of the committee and a huge supporter of our Young Workers activity across the North West. Whether it’s campaigning, getting involved in events, creating content or simply being there to support other young activists, Ash has always thrown themselves into it.

We want to say a massive THANK YOU for all the time, energy and enthusiasm you’ve given to the committee and the region. 💜✊

You’ll be a great loss to the committee, but we know this definitely isn’t the end of your involvement with Usdaw — just the end of being able to call yourself a Young Worker! 😂

Have a brilliant birthday, Ash! 🎂🥳

Once a Young Worker, always a Young Worker at heart! 💜✊
