Today, we commemorate the rich history and enduring legacy of all those who journeyed to our shores and helped shape the diverse, vibrant nation we proudly call home. Arrival Day reminds us of the courage, resilience, and sacrifices of our ancestors, whose contributions laid the foundation for the Guyana we continue to build today.
At the Basic Needs Trust Fund, we celebrate the strength found in our diversity and the unity that binds us as one people. As we honour the past, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting communities across Guyana and improving the lives of those we serve.
May this day inspire continued respect, understanding, and togetherness among all Guyanese.
Happy Arrival Day!
