⚠️ POWER OUTAGE UPDATE – KILI ISLAND ⚡

Iakwe Kili Community,

We want to keep everyone informed regarding the current power outage on Kili Island.

Unfortunately, the island has been without electricity since the evening of Tuesday, July 14, after the generator experienced a technical fault and shut down.

✅ The Marshall Energy Company (MEC) is already responding. A mechanic/electrician is being arranged to travel to Kili on the next available flight to diagnose and repair the generator.

🔧 At the same time, MEC is also working to send a backup generator to Kili to help restore power as quickly as possible.

We know this outage has caused inconvenience for families, businesses, and essential services, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding while repairs are underway.

🙏 We will continue to share updates as soon as more information becomes available.
