It's Planting Day. Come along to the Park around 10am and help us put 1000 native plants into a new home. We have some spare spades but if you have one, bring it together with gloves and gumboots and meet us on the driveway beside the cafe carpark. If you arrive late, signs will direct you to the sites which are only a few minutes walk from the driveway. Stay afterwards for a cuppa at the school house or go for a walk amidst the previous successful planting sites nearby and be amazed how good they are growing.

The forecast for tomorrow looks perfect for Planting Day!!! Starting at 10am we have chosen a sunny spot to start only a few minutes walk from the driveway. Bring gloves, gumboots, a spade if you have one and help give the Trees For Canterbury plants a new home. Meet on the driveway near the Orton Bradley Cafe carpark (closed tomorrow). Stay for a cup of tea and chat afterwards in the School House.

The plants have arrived! Thanks Trees For Canterbury for great plants again this year. We will put them in place tomorrow and be all ready for planting on Sunday, 2nd August from 10am. Remember to bring gumboots, gloves and a spade (if you have one, we have spare ones if you don't). Meet in the driveway and we'll walk you to the site (5 mins). Don't worry if you arrive a bit late we'll be heading there every 15 mins or so. Otherwise follow the signs! Don't forget to stay for a cup of tea afterwards.
