The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) commends the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) for enabling Filipinos to open a BPI account using their Digital National ID through the eGovPH Super App.

This milestone supports the vision of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to accelerate the country's digital transformation and promote inclusive access to government and financial services. With the Digital National ID now integrated into the process, more Filipinos can now enjoy a faster, more secure, and more convenient way to open a bank account.
