BUILDING DIGITAL COMPETENCE IN PUBLIC SERVICE 💻

In celebration of the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary with the theme “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan,” the Human Settlements Adjudication Commission – Regional Adjudication Branch Cordillera Administrative Region (HSAC-RAB CAR) successfully conducted a learning session on the proper and effective utilization of Google Workspace for its personnel on September 17, 2026 in Baguio City.

With resource persons from the Department of Information and Communications Technology – Benguet Provincial Office (DICT-Benguet), the activity aimed to enhance the digital skills of employees in using Google Workspace. The session also highlighted the transformative potential of cutting-edge AI technologies, specifically introducing Google Gemini and Google Notebook as powerful tools to streamline information processing, elevate research, and boost everyday administrative and content-generation tasks.

This initiative reflects true "puso, dangal, at galing" in action, reinforcing HSAC RAB-CAR's commitment to leveraging technology for a more efficient, responsive, secure, and quality delivery of government services to the public.

Please be advised that the HSAC Central Office and RABs NCR, CAR, 1, III, IV-A, and IV-B will observe a work-from-home arrangement today, 10 September 2026 (Thursday), in accordance with Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 135, s. 2026, which directs the implementation of appropriate alternative work arrangements in government offices in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon and the cumulative effects of prolonged rainfall.

Unless otherwise announced, a skeleton workforce operation will resume on 11 September 2026 (Friday).

Please be informed that work at the Human Settlements Adjudication Commission Central Office and Regional Adjudication Branches CAR, NCR, I, III, IV-A Satellite Office, and IV-B is suspended today, 28 August 2026 (Friday) starting 1:00 p.m., pursuant to Office of the President's Memorandum Circular No. 132, s. 2026, suspending work in government offices due to the expected further enhancement of the Southwest Monsoon by a Low-Pressure Area that has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
