𝗦𝗗𝗢 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮 𝗴𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝘂𝗽 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗔𝗦-𝗧𝗨𝗞𝗟𝗔𝗦 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

School leaders took a closer look at the requirements, procedures, and accountability measures of the GAS-TUKLAS Program as the Schools Division of Calamba City gathered 149 SDO officials and public and private school principals for a division orientation at Bulwagang Rizal, 4th floor of the DepEd main building on September 23, 2026.

The orientation equipped participants with information on GAS-TUKLAS, covering program objectives, eligibility requirements, competitions, financial assistance, application procedures, fund utilization, post-activity compliance, and accountability mechanisms.

Resource persons guided participants through the application process and addressed frequently asked questions, common misconceptions, and application concerns during the open discussion.

SDO officials and school heads also reviewed their respective roles and responsibilities in implementing GAS-TUKLAS and ensuring the truthful, transparent, accountable, and judicious use of public funds.

𝟭𝟱𝟴 𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗘𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

The Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) led by CID – Chief Dr. Dolorosa S. De Castro convened a Division Orientation for Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) tutors on September 29, 2026, at the Bulwagang Rizal, DepEd Main Building.

The session successfully trained 150 newly selected External ARAL Tutors alongside eight tutors appointed through the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Government Internship Program (GIP).

The session equipped attendees with standardized methods for learner identification, grouping, and instructional resource utilization. Additionally, the orientation clarified tutor roles, explicit deliverables, and reporting structures required to ensure consistent monitoring and administrative compliance.

Education Program Supervisors (EPS) Andrea C. Senadoza (English), Lino T. Sanchez (Filipino), Rosemarie V. Magnaye (Mathematics), and Enelyn T. Badillo (Kindergarten) served as learning facilitators to guide the tutors through the program's specialized instructional strategies.

Public Schools District Supervisors (PSDS) Ligaya B. Fuego of Cluster 1 and Thelma G. Calatin of Cluster 3 also facilitated sections of the orientation.

𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗖𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

The DepEd Schools Division of Calamba City successfully conducted its 5th Division Management Committee (ManCom) Meeting on September 22, 2026. The event opened with a message emphasizing leadership that supports professional growth and high-quality school governance.

OIC - Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Marissa C. Betchaida discussed the Regional ManCom guidelines and teacher workload policies. Following this, Curriculum updates, School Governance, and Office of the Schools Division Superintendent (OSDS) matters were discussed by their respective focal unit heads.

During the "SDS’s Hour," Dr. Evardome laid out crucial directives on fund adjustments, student programs, and new assessment guidelines. She pushed for immediate literacy and numeracy interventions, proper use of learning materials, and the strict implementation of the ARAL Program Support Fund and "OK sa DepEd" programs.

Furthermore, she detailed upcoming orientations for electronic School Form 7 (e-SF7), data encoding, and a refresher on Customer Satisfaction Measurement (CSM) reporting. Finally, she clarified policy orders, including the voluntary nature of Pride Month activities, the rules for choosing Learner Formation Officers, and the newly released DepEd Orders 15 and 16, s. 2026, which govern classroom assessment and lesson planning.

School heads Glariz L. Rellin of Halang Elementary School and Rhoda O. Dela Cruz of Castor Alviar National High School then presented a midyear review of school programs, projects, and activities (PPAs) to find operational gaps. Additionally, Public Schools District Supervisor Dr. Rowena B. Cambel shared practical solutions to help school heads resolve common school problems.

The event, successfully hosted by Cluster 1 under Public Schools District Supervisor Ligaya B. Fuego, concluded with a special ceremony commending top-performing schools in the recent end-of-term division competitions.
