NAIC, CAVITE โ The Department of Migrant Workers Regional Office IV-A (DMW 4A) paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Rommel C. Magbitang, Municipal Mayor of Naic, Cavite, at the Naic Municipal Hall on June 2, 2026, to discuss initiatives and collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing the welfare, protection, and development of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families in the municipality.
During the meeting, DMW 4A Regional Director Atty. April R. Casabuena highlighted DMW programs and services that support OFWs from pre-employment to reintegration. She also discussed the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program and the upcoming Housing Fair on June 25, 2026, which will provide OFWs and residents with information on housing opportunities, financing options, and government assistance programs to help them achieve homeownership and long-term stability.
Further, it was highlighted that various programs and services are available to Naiceรฑo OFWs, including employment facilitation, welfare assistance, skills development, reintegration support, and other government interventions aimed at empowering migrant workers and helping them achieve long-term economic stability.
Meanwhile, Mayor Rommel Magbitang expressed his full support for DMW 4Aโs initiatives and affirmed the Municipality of Naicโs commitment to collaborating with the Department in delivering programs and services that will benefit OFWs and their families. The courtesy visit highlighted the shared dedication of the Department and the local government to advancing the welfare and empowerment of OFWs through accessible and responsive government programs.
As part of its continuing mandate, the DMW 4A remains steadfast in strengthening partnerships with local government units throughout the CALABARZON region. Through sustained collaboration and community engagement, the Department continues to bring its programs and services closer to the people, ensuring that more OFWs, aspiring migrant workers, and their families are informed, protected, and provided with opportunities that will contribute to their growth, security, and overall well-being.
