Personnel of Gamu Fire Station, successfully conducted the Daily Capability Enhancement Program, focusing on Ladder Carry Skills Enhancement.

The activity emphasized the proper techniques in carrying ladders safely and efficiently, reinforcing teamwork, coordination, and operational discipline. Through continuous training, personnel further enhance their competence, physical readiness, and confidence, ensuring a faster and more effective response during fire and other emergency incidents.

BFP Gamu personnel, under the supervision of SFO3 Mary Joy A. Perdido, Officer-in-Charge, conducted a lecture and return demonstration on the proper application of bandaging techniques using a triangular bandage for the On-the-Job Training (OJT) students of Saint Ferdinand College, Isabela Colleges, and Isabela College of Arts and Technology.

The activity aimed to enhance the students’ knowledge and practical skills in providing proper first aid and emergency care, particularly in the correct use and application of triangular bandages during emergency situations.

In line with its commitment to continuously enhance the operational readiness and firefighting capabilities of its personnel, BFP Gamu Fire Station successfully conducted a Skills Enhancement Activity focusing on Fire Hose Connection Methods.

The activity aimed to improve the speed, accuracy of firefighters in connecting fire hoses during emergency operations. Through a series of practical exercises and hands-on drills, personnel strengthened their technical skills while reinforcing teamwork, coordination, and adherence to standard firefighting procedures.

Fire Hose Connection Methods is one of the fundamental firefighting skills that enables firefighters to establish an effective water supply line and restore equipment promptly after operations. Regular training in these essential techniques ensures that personnel remain physically prepared, operationally competent, and capable of responding effectively to fire incidents and other emergencies.
