‼️PUBLIC ADVISORY‼️

The Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) warns the public against the falsification, alteration, unauthorized use and misrepresentation of official regulatory documents, certificates, permits and signatures issued by the Bureau.

BAI reiterates that any act of falsification or alteration of official documents is punishable under the Revised Penal Code and other applicable laws, rules and regulations.

The BAI takes these matters seriously as such acts undermine the integrity of government-issued documents and may compromise public trust, regulatory compliance and animal health and welfare.

The public is advised to transact only through legitimate channels and to immediately report suspicious, altered or unauthorized documents bearing the name, logo or signature of BAI.

Also, the public is reminded to exercise responsibility and caution in posting or sharing regulatory and legal documents on social media platforms to prevent unauthorized use, misrepresentation or possible misuse of official information. ###

🐝 The Bureau of Animal Industry – Good Animal Husbandry Practices (GAHP) Program successfully concluded the 3-day Capacity Building on Beekeeping and Apiary Management and Workshop on the GAHP Inspection Checklist for Bee Farms held on 28–30 April 2026. 🍯

The activity enhanced the knowledge and skills of participants in promoting safe, quality, and sustainable beekeeping practices. It also highlighted key challenges affecting honey production and bee health, including pollution, excessive disturbances, and pesticide poisoning that threaten colony survival and productivity. 🌱🐝

As part of the workshop, participants engaged in discussions and consultations for the development and refinement of the GAHP Inspection Checklist for Bee Farms to support the establishment of science-based and practical standards for the beekeeping industry. 📋✨

The GAHP Program extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Joseph Panas and the entire Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) - National Apiculture Research, Training and Development Institute (NARTDI) Training Team for their invaluable expertise and support, as well as to all participants for their active participation and commitment to advancing the beekeeping sector. 🤝💛

Together, let us continue promoting responsible apiary management, bee health protection, and sustainable honey production toward a stronger and more resilient beekeeping industry. 🌼🍯🐝
