Alaska Behavioral Health has a new group for youth with disordered eating n Anchorage.

- clients age 10-17
- medically stable and able to participate in group
- have disordered eating that is affecting their daily life
- Clients DO NOT need to have an eating disorder diagnosis

Group meets Mondays, 5:00 - 7:00 pm in person in Anchorage at our Child & Family Clinic on Folker Street.

Are you worried about your child's relationship with food? Give us a call and see if this new group might be a good fit to provide support!

In 2024, 339 people died from drug overdoses in Alaska, marking a 5% decline from the record high of 357 the previous year, according to an annual report released by the state Department of Health.Education, compassion, and access to Narcan are credited with lowering the numbers, but Alaska still sits above the national average.
