’Twas the night before the last day of school,
When all through Sherwood Heights, the excitement was cool!
The backpacks were emptied, the lockers cleared out,
With visions of summer, there wasn't a doubt.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While dreams of the playground danced in their heads.
No more morning alarms, no more rushing the door,
Just sunshine and pool days and sleeping till four!
To the parents out there: brace yourselves for the noise,
The "I'm bored"s and the messes, the laundry and toys!
Yes, our **Superstars** are coming home for the weeks up ahead,
But oh, what a beautiful chapter to tread.
Thank you, dear families, for all that you do,
This year was amazing because of all *you*.
So wave to the buses, let summer commence,
Have the best break of all—the excitement’s immense!
**⚠️ Reminder: Dismissal is at 11:30 tomorrow!**
