We had a wonderful picnic at Winslow Memorial Park yesterday! ☀️

Residents enjoyed relaxing walks by the water, reminiscing about childhood memories, spending time on the swings, and singing along to favorite songs. We shared sandwiches, cold drinks, and sweet treats while enjoying a beautiful afternoon outdoors together.

Thank you to our amazing Memory Care Coordinators, Debbie and Delaney, for making this special outing possible. A special thank you to Debbie for all the extra work behind the scenes to help make the day such a success! 💜

We are so happy to have some new entertainment this summer! We welcomed Josh Charleton to our community and he filled the room with joy and smiles! His voice is absolutely amazing and we can not wait to invite him back to our community 🎤🎶

Wow, what a ride! 🐴❤️

Nearly two years ago, when our Programming Director, Alana, stepped into her role, she asked our residents a simple question: "What would you like to do?" One resident's answer was unforgettable—they wanted to ride a pony.

Fast forward almost two years, and that wish has finally come true!

What started as a dream for one resident turned into an incredible experience for many, as our residents spent time meeting, petting, and enjoying a variety of wonderful backyard farm animals—including a pony! Seeing the smiles, laughter, and pure joy on everyone's faces made every bit of planning worth it.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this special day possible. Moments like these remind us that it's never too late to make a wish come true and create memories that will last a lifetime. 💕🐐🐰🐴

What a wonderful way to spend a beautiful June morning in Maine—sharing songs, making memories, and enjoying time together across generations. These simple moments of connection are what make our community so special. ❤️

Our very own Programming Directors, Alana K. at Clover Health Care and Kirk B. from Addington Place of Jupiter were featured in the blog “Therapeutic Programming: Cultivating Connection, Purpose & Well-Being,” where they shared insights on how meaningful engagement supports connection, purpose, and overall well-being for residents.

Kirk shared, “In my role, I think often about how each day unfolds for residents. What are they looking forward to? Where are the opportunities to connect, contribute, and stay engaged? The answer isn’t a single program, but the full experience of a thoughtfully designed day.”

The blog also highlights the impact of pet therapy in our communities. Alana shared, “When we see a resident petting an animal, we see them become instantly calm. They stay in the moment, and the rest of the world seems not to matter.” She also noted that residents who are typically quiet and reserved often come out specifically for these visits.
