A very special thank you goes out to Maggie & Phoebe, students from Cheverus High School, who completed their senior community service project with us this past month! From working the meat counter in the Food Pantry to mashing potatoes in the Community Kitchen, they were all over MCHPP jumping from program to program helping with whatever was needed. We appreciate all of your support and send you lots of best wishes for all of your future adventures! 💛

Well, it's the end to another great year partnering with various Bowdoin College Athletics teams on monthly cleaning projects around our facilities 🧽🧹✨

Thank you to Bowdoin Swim & Dive for their recent help at our Food Access Center with a little spring cleaning in our gardens and around the buildings!

To all the students who pitched in this year, have a wonderful summer ☀️ - and if you aren't graduating we hope to see you again soon!

The biggest of THANK YOUs to Gary of Brooks Feed & Farm Supply, Inc. for unloading our rental truck for the last week with their forklift while our box truck was at the mechanic. Otherwise, our staff and volunteers would have been unloading thousands of pounds of food by hand 🚜🙌❤️

This is a great example of our community coming together to help MCHPP nourish our neighbors. We really couldn't do it without everyone who pitches in day in and day out!

It's always super fun when our friends at the Brunswick High School Interact Club comes to visit us! On a recent afternoon, they helped us with a much needed project of cleaning out produce crates and repackaging eggs for distribution. As always, thank you so much for your continued support and helping hands!! 🌞

We are sending our wonderful intern Gabby off with a big thank you! 🥳 Over this past semester she helped to administer a volunteer program evaluation, implemented lots of fun appreciation ideas for our volunteers, and her never ending positivity have made the past few months super fun. Thank you to our entire MCHPP community for your generosity and support of our Plates of Plenty Live Auction and Virtual Silent Auction events!

We are thrilled to announce that this year Plates of Plenty raised a combined total of more than $156,000!

These funds will directly support MCHPP's core programming - including our Food Pantry, Soup Kitchen, Grocery Deliveries and more - and make a tremendous difference for families in the Mid Coast.

A big thank you to our dedicated volunteer Charlie, who recently built a new table for our donation drop off area in the Food Bank!

Charlie volunteers weekly in MCHPP's Food Bank, Community Kitchen, Neighborhood Deliveries programs, and loves to create and construct colorful wooden pieces and installations in his free time. Thank you for helping us envision a more functional and welcoming donation space!
