Center Point Senior Activity Center is a place where people want to be. Seniors from Center Point and surrounding cities come together to meet and greet, have fun and socialize. The Senior Center is a place where people play-whether that is card games, Wii bowling, or just talking and being together. We explore the world together through a variety of education and informational offerings-for insta

nce, workshops, speakers, and trips. We provide an environment that encourages seniors to be active, to stay mentally, physically, and socially engaged, and to live lives of quality, meaning and dignity.

On Saturday, we participated in a wagon tour at the Old Cahawba, which was an enjoyable experience for our seniors. The pleasant weather and the informative presentations were notable highlights, it was a great tour. After the tour we visited Hancock’s barbecue in Selma, Alabama. The food was great, and the service was too. If you have not had the opportunity to visit the Old Cahawba Archaeological Park in Orville,Alabama, we recommended doing so.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Mrs. Claudine Land from Grace Klein Community for generously making seat cushions for the seniors' rocking chairs on our patio.
The cushions look absolutely wonderful and have added both comfort and beauty to our outdoor space. Your kindness, thoughtfulness, and dedication to serving others are truly appreciated by our seniors and staff.
