For the newest Staff Spotlight, we sit down with Darlene Weeks, the longtime Athletic Director Secretary at WF West High School. With 20 years at the school, Darlene shares the story of how she first got started, the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the athletic department running smoothly, and her surprising talent for repairing appliances.

From organizing busy sports schedules to helping support students, coaches, and families, Darlene has become an important part of the WF West community. Get to know the person behind the desk and hear the stories, skills, and dedication that have made her a familiar face around campus for two decades.

🎒✏️ Incoming Kindergartners — Get Ready for School! ✏️🎒

Cornerstone’s Kinder Motor Camp is happening on Wednesday, June 17th at James Lintott Elementary from 9:30am–12:00pm!

This fun and engaging camp is designed to help incoming kindergarten students build fine and gross motor skills to help prepare them for the upcoming school year. Kids will participate in hands-on activities, movement, games, and more in a supportive environment built just for them.

We're continuing our countdown to graduation with a salute to our Top 25 graduates of the Class of 2026. Today, we recognize Miles Martin. After high school, Miles plans to attend Mt. Hood Community College to play baseball and study Business Administration/Management, with the goal of earning both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree. After college, he hopes to become a successful business manager and/or owner.

The future Trailblazers in the W.F. West Bearcats Class of 2026 took their next big step last week. Students explored Centralia College's campus, asked questions and started envisioning their future. A big thank you to CC for their warm welcome. It is experiences like these that make college feel accessible and welcoming for all our students.

We’re hosting a FREE family-friendly BBQ to thank everyone who has supported our schools and students through their time, encouragement, and involvement. Bring the whole family and come enjoy an afternoon of food, games, and community together!
