One of our guys that we work very close with, day in and day out at the closest firehouse over from us, suffered a devastating incident on Sunday! Dan Lenihan of Truck 27 was performing roof operations at a working fire when he had a stroke without warning. Thankfully due to fellow colleagues he was removed from the scene quickly and rushed to the ER. Dan has a very long road ahead of him physically and financially. Being the majority roll provider of his family working 2 jobs, any help would be appreciated for his wife and 3 children.

On March 29th, the unimaginable happened to CFD’s FF Dan Lenihan. Unfortunately Sunday morning we lost our Tower Ladder in an accident. The tower was blocking the scene for an accident on the expressway when a driver flew up the shoulder striking the rig at a very high rate of speed. The rig did what it was suppose to, and that was to protect our members!
Please slow down and use caution when on the roadway! Everyone deserves to go home!
