As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we’re reminded that supporting emotional well‑being isn’t a one‑month commitment — it’s something we carry forward every day.
At DeKalb County CASA, we see firsthand how mental health impacts the children and families we serve. Our volunteers, partners, and community members play a vital role in ensuring that every child feels seen, supported, and understood.
To our CASA and Education Advocate volunteers: thank you for advocating with compassion, for recognizing the whole child, and for helping ensure mental health needs are not overlooked.
To our partners at DeKalb County Juvenile Court, DFCS, and across the community: thank you for walking alongside us in this work.
To our families and youth: your resilience inspires us.
Mental Health Awareness Month may be ending, but our commitment to awareness, healing, and hope continues. 💚
