Educating the public and policymakers about the importance of protecting and utilizing the Missouri River is critical to ensuring water security, economic development, and quality of life in our state. The Missouri River Joint Water Board’s (MRJWB) Educate Advocate and Engage (EAE) Program is raising awareness about the importance of the Missouri River for North Dakota’s future.

On May 4, the Southwest Water Authority Board of Directors presented the MRJWB with a financial contribution to support the EAE Program in the endeavor to protect the water rights of the Missouri River in North Dakota, for North Dakota. For more information on the EAE Program visit Missouri River Joint Water Board
