The Main Transmission Line Leak near the Dickinson Airport has been fixed, and we are now working on refilling the pipe. Water service should be restored this evening. We appreciate your patience as we worked through this event. Once water is restored to your location, it could appear cloudy. This is the effect of air in the pipeline, and it will dissipate. We still ask for conservation measures over the next day or two as we work to refill the storage reservoirs and tanks that helped us get through this event.

🚨🚨Due to a water main leak South of the Dickinson Airport requiring emergency repairs, Southwest Water Authority is requesting that customers reduce non-essential water use until repairs are complete. Conserving water during this time helps maintain adequate system pressure and supports uninterrupted service for all customers. This leak will leave many customers with a temporary loss of water or low pressure. We are working to restore service as quickly as possible, but this leak repair is expected to continue into Sunday, August 23rd. Thank you for your assistance. 🚨🚨

It was a pleasure to welcome Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak and her entire staff to Southwest Water Authority last week!

Visits like this are about more than sharing information. They help strengthen the relationships between local, state, and federal partners and provide a better understanding of the unique water needs and challenges facing North Dakota.

Thank you, Congresswoman Fedorchak and team, for taking the time to listen, learn, ask questions, and engage with us. Strong relationships and open communication are essential as we continue working together to meet North Dakota’s water needs today and well into the future.
