El Paso ISD is conducting its annual Federal Impact Aid Survey for all students enrolled in the district to identify students who:
• Reside on federal property
• Parents are active-duty military
• Parents report to work on federal property
El Paso ISD does not receive property tax funding for those residing on federal property. To compensate for this reduction in tax revenue, the federal government authorizes payments to the school district based on the pupil's residence or the parent's employment on federal property. Completing the survey is crucial to the operational budget of El Paso ISD.
