๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’™ Thank You for Helping Seniors and Their Pets!

This April, our community came together in a beautiful way to support seniors and the pets who mean the world to them.
Thanks to the kindness of 23 incredible donors, the 2026 Pets Need Love Too Campaign raised $5,000 to strengthen our Pets Need Vets program right here in the Fairbanks North Star Borough.

Because of your generosity, seniors and their pets will receive 62 essential veterinary visits โ€” including wellness checks, updated vaccines, medications, food, and comfort items โ€” ensuring pets stay healthy, safe, and loved at home.

A special shoutout to Fairbanks Distributors and all our donors for helping keep tails wagging, spirits lifted, and families together. ๐Ÿ’•

Your compassion protects the bond that brings companionship, stability, and joy to older adults throughout our Borough.

Thank you for showing our seniors and their pets so much love! ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿ’–

Good Morning, Friends!

We want to share that the Fairbanks Vet Center has designed a new Veteran Benefits Seminar for the veterans and their spouses. There have been several veterans (100โ€™s), and sadly, after death, their spouses come by with questions of what to do next. The Fairbanks Vet Center finally has two Veteran Service Officers (VSOs) who are excited to answer any questions anyone may have. Also, the VSOs are hosting a brief that includes various situations that have occurred.

If you are a Veteran and would like to attend their new VA Benefits Seminar, they will be held every Wednesday, starting June 3rd, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, at the Fairbanks Vet Center (751 Old Richardson Hwy, Ste 127). For more information, you can contact their office at 907-456-4238.
