We're excited to introduce the CyberPortal, our new platform for curriculum and Cyber Range access! CyberPortal officially goes live and will be available for use on Monday, August 3 at portal.cyber.org. Our previous platforms, apps.cyber.org and Canvas, will be retired on Monday, August 31 at 8:00 AM CDT.

What's changing?
•CyberPortal (portal.cyber.org) opens for use on August 3 and replaces both apps.cyber.org and Canvas as the home for CYBER.ORG curriculum and range access.
•We are steadily adding existing course content to the CyberPortal and will continue to do so throughout August. Our most popular courses are being added first, with the remainder to follow. This means that not all courses will be available on August 3, but rest assured that they will be added no later than August 31 to ensure you have everything you need for your classrooms.
•At 8:00 AM CDT on August 31, apps.cyber.org will no longer accept logins, and Canvas will no longer be used to deliver course content. Anyone visiting these will be directed to portal.cyber.org.

What do you need to do?
• Accounts and classrooms are not migrated automatically to the CyberPortal. You will need to register on the CyberPortal even if you already have a CYBER.ORG Canvas or range account.
• Starting August 3, you will be able to:
1. Register for an account on portal.cyber.org.
2. Set up your classroom.
3. Generate your class roster. This is quick once the classroom is set up.
• We highly recommend that you complete your CyberPortal registration on or soon after August 3 so you're ready to go well ahead of the August 31 deadline.

Does your IT team need to do anything?
• For most users, the answer is no. If your IT team allows the cyber.org domain, no changes are needed.
• If your firewall, content filter, or single sign-on configuration specifically references apps.cyber.org, please update that reference to portal.cyber.org before August 31 to avoid access disruption.
• If you're not sure whether this applies to you, forward this note to your IT team or reach out to us for assistance.
