Here's your reminder to look back at how far you've come.

Maybe you did better than expected on a tough assignment, made a new friend, joined a club, spoke up more in class, or finally figured out something that just wasn’t clicking before.

Whatever your win looks like, be proud of it. Every little step counts! 🌟

Everyone needs a little extra help sometimes, and at CEC, asking for it is part of learning. Some subjects “click” right away; others take a little more time, and THAT’S OKAY!

CEC offers tutoring support to work through challenging concepts, ask questions, and build confidence in learning.

Whether you need help understanding a topic or simply want some extra support, you don't have to figure it out alone.

Keep learning. Keep asking. Keep moving forward.

From the CEC Aurora classroom to an opportunity in advanced manufacturing and aerospace.

CEC alum Daniel Pina Hernandez has been accepted into Lockheed Martin Space's Advanced Manufacturing Technician Apprenticeship Program. His journey is a great example of what can happen when students have opportunities to explore their interests, build real-world skills, and start preparing for their future while they're still in high school.

Congratulations, Daniel!

We can't wait to see where this next chapter takes you.

Where could your CEC journey take you?

A new pathway from CEC to Colorado School of Mines! Colorado Early Colleges is proud to partner with Colorado School of Mines through the Mines Bound Guaranteed Admission pathway, opening another door for eligible CEC students to pursue their passions in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Qualifying students can receive:
- Guaranteed admission to Colorado School of Mines
- A waived application fee
- A minimum $6,000 annual merit scholarship for up to four years

To qualify, students must meet the pathway’s academic requirements, including a 3.8 unweighted cumulative GPA, and submit their Mines application by the November 1 priority deadline during their senior year.

At CEC, we believe every student deserves opportunities to build a future that reflects their interests, abilities, and ambitions. We’re excited to work with Mines to help more students take their next step toward that future!

Students and families: Talk with your CEC advisor to learn more about the pathway, eligibility requirements, and application process.

The classes matter, but so do the moments in between.

Finding a club you love, meeting people who share your interests, trying something new, taking on a leadership role, and feeling like you're part of your school community - this is what a great school experience offers.

At CEC, students have opportunities to learn, connect, explore their interests, and make their high school experience their own. Because preparing for the future matters, and so does enjoying the journey there. 💛

Today, we remember Keith King, the founder and visionary behind Colorado Early Colleges.

In 2007, Keith's vision for an early college high school became a reality when Colorado Springs Early Colleges opened its doors. That vision eventually grew into the CEC network serving students across Colorado.

His belief was simple: students should have the opportunity to pursue growth, mastery, and success in school, college, and their chosen careers.
Today, CEC continues working to fulfill that vision.

Student-Centered. Innovation Ready. Future-Focused.

We have one more big ticket item up for our silent auction which closes October 24 at 9:00 PM.
