** TXDOT I35 Nex Construction Closure TONIGHT**

WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the I-35 Northeast Expansion Program, TxDOT will close the westbound Loop 1604 mainlanes at I-35 for bridge work.

This closure is scheduled for 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 23 to 5 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2026

DETOUR INFORMATION
The westbound Loop 1604 mainlanes at I-35 will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to the direct connector from westbound Loop 1604 to northbound I-35. Traffic will then take the off ramp from northbound I-35 to Olympia Parkway and follow the detour to the direct connector from southbound I-35 to westbound Loop 1604.

WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the I-35 Northeast Expansion Program, TxDOT will close the northbound I-35 mainlanes at Loop 1604 for bridge deck work.

This closure is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23 and Wednesday, June 24 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.

DETOUR INFORMATION
All lanes of the northbound I-35 mainlanes at Loop 1604 will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to the northbound I-35 to eastbound direct connector to Pat Booker Road.

As part of the I-35 Northeast Expansion Program, TxDOT will close the northbound I-35 mainlanes from Forum Parkway to Olympia Parkway for bridge beam work.

This closure is scheduled 8 p.m. Monday, June 22 to 5 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2026

DETOUR INFORMATION
The northbound I-35 mainlanes at Forum Parkway will be closed. Traffic will be detoured to the Olympia Parkway exit along the northbound I-35 frontage road for access to the northbound I-35 mainlanes.

We've been blessed with rain lately, but that doesn't change the fact that fireworks are prohibited within city limits of Garden Ridge. Please be considerate to neighbors, pets and wildlife and leave the fireworks (small AND large) to the professional displays.

**TXDOT I-35 NEX Construction news....LONG TERM CLOSURE**

WHAT TO EXPECT
As part of the I-35 Northeast Expansion Program, TxDOT will close the on ramp to the northbound I-35 mainlanes north of Corporate Drive for drainage installation and road work.

🚧🚧🚧For anyone needing "landmarks" to recognize where this is, it's the on-ramp by Gunn Chevrolet. 🚧🚧🚧

This closure is scheduled from Wednesday, June 17 through August, 2026
