🎒🤦‍♂️ We know, we know... the kids literally just walked out the school doors and here we are already talking about sending them back! 🏖️😂

But behind the scenes, summer flies by, and we’re already gearing up for our Annual Backpack Program. Last year, we helped over 350 students across Greater Gardner start the year with brand-new backpacks and needed supplies. This year, we’re anticipating an even bigger turnout as more neighbors turn to us for a helping hand.

That is why our School Supply Drive is starting right now! If you want to beat the August rush and help a local child feel like a superstar on day one, you can shop from the comfort of your AC by checking out our Amazon and Walmart wishlists in the comments below to ship supplies directly to our office.

Thank you for helping us invest in our community’s kids (and sorry again for mentioning school on day one of summer break! 🎒☀️).

🍏🥦 WE ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR OUR COMMUNITY! 🛒🥕

Every single week, the Gardner CAC sees firsthand what happens when a community comes together to take care of its neighbors. We are incredibly blessed, and we want to take a moment to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who makes our daily food security work possible. This work is a true team effort that relies on the continuous generosity of our corporate and grant partners—including the Worcester County Food Bank, Hannaford, Price Chopper, Walmart, the City of Gardner Block Grant, United Way of North Central MA, and the Community Foundation of NCM.

Just as importantly, we rely on the incredible heart of our local faith community, every single community member who drops off donations, and the fantastic groups who organize local food drives to keep our shelves heavy.

Our food pantry serves as a vital resource to help supplement families' grocery budgets, ensuring they don't have to choose between putting food on the table and paying for other basic living expenses.

From the bottom of our hearts—thank you to our corporate partners, our local leaders, our faith community, and our amazing neighbors for ensuring no one in Greater Gardner has to go hungry. We truly are stronger together! 💙
