As human beings, we will cause harm. Maybe even the same harm, multiple times, before we completely change to a new way of responding or acting. On the flip side, we will also be harmed by humans. Maybe multiple times. How do we navigate harm, repair, and correction in a way that helps us maintain relationships and continue building community? Karen and Lynn share ways they have learned and continue to learn, prioritizing relationships.

**This is NOT a black or white topic. Every individual has a choice in a relationship. We introduce this subject as a way to let go of the all-or-nothing approach to relationships and step into the vulnerability of repair and correction.

One of the most helpful tools for personal growth and becoming the best instructor is to WATCH and LISTEN! I love sharing yoga and the sessions I offer for UWGB's LLI have been especially beneficial to my growth, health and well being. I learn something every single lesson I share!!! One thing I really like about volunteering for UWGB's LLI is getting assessments afterward. They help me to understand how the lessons are being received. Here are my latest assessments for the "mini series" and Spring semester just passed. I am very excited for the Fall Semestre:
1pm Gentle yoga and 2:30pm Vinyasa Flow AT: Allouez Village Hall: November 9, 16, 23, 30 & Dec. 7th & 14th. 🙏🧘‍♀️🧘🧘‍♂️

A special poem shared by a special person...

Hiding; Out In The Open

Feelings build and need to be released. Looking fine on the outside - but something is not right and hurts on the inside.

Trying skills and frustration sets in when they don't help. Supports are there but still do things to myself. It's my fault. Trying so hard - I don't know who I am or how to be. Feeling not good enough, not worthy, bad - like a child.

Pain is shown on the hidden spots on my skin where only I can see. Outside pain to match the inside. A punishment for having feelings - to get them to go away. A release so I don't explode. Getting harder to stay even. I'm hiding; out in the open.
