This gentle boy was found today (05/26) on WI-40 near Sue's Greenhouse in Exeland. He was found with no collar or tags. He is not microchipped either.

Found Dog:

This beautiful and sweet boy was found yesterday (05/18) on Wooddale Rd in Birchwood. He was found with no collar or tags. He is not microchipped either.

If you recognize this dog, and know the owner please contact Sawyer County Animal Control at 715-634-5139. We are open Monday thru Friday from 8am to 11am.

Valid proof of ownership, such as a valid rabies vaccination certificate or county license, are required for pick up.

🧺 BLANKET DONATIONS NEEDED 🧺

Right now, we are caring for 57 cats and kittens and 38 dogs and puppies. Some are waiting for homes, while others are still too young for adoption, recovering from medical treatment, or getting the extra care they need before they are ready for families of their own. ❤️

With so many animals in our care, we are going through blankets very quickly to keep everyone warm, comfortable, clean, and cozy.

We are in need of:
• Gently used blankets
• Throws
• Comforters
• Towels

(Please no pillows or heavily stuffed items.)

Donations can be dropped off at the shelter any time and are deeply appreciated by both the animals and staff. Every blanket helps provide comfort, warmth, and security to the pets depending on us each day. 🐾

Thank you for continuing to support the animals in our care and helping us give them the comfort they deserve while they heal, grow, and wait for brighter days ahead.

Update: Owner has been found and pups have gone home!

Found Dogs:
These boys were picked up earlier this morning (5/10) on Hwy 77 and Railroad street.
The Springer was found wearing the yellow Halo collar and the Lab wear the blue collar. Neither dog has a microchip and neither of the collars have tags.
