988 Day is a national effort to spread awareness about the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline and the importance of mental health and su***de prevention.

The theme for 988 Day 2026 is “988 Reasons: Your reason is reason enough.” This reminds us that you don’t have to be in a crisis to reach out to 988. Whatever you’re going through—big or small—your reason for asking for support is enough.
