Welcome to the Hazard/Perry County Chamber of Commerce and to the friendly community of Hazard, Kentucky.

Our primary mission is to promote new business and commercial growth as well as the retention and expansion of existing businesses. While these standards remain today, the Chamber office staff also works with the government of the City of Hazard and Perry County to promote the common interest of the community in order to enhance the quality of life of the residents. Hazard serves as the center fo

r education, communication and healthcare for the area and surrounding counties. Our community is a great place to live, raise a family, worship, educate our children and to do business. Hazard offers practically any provider of service that you need. As in most of Eastern Kentucky, the main industry is coal mining, but the city is also focusing now on attracting new industries. Our public school systems provide an excellent education. Hazard Community and Technical College has its main campus in Hazard. Bachelors and Master degree programs are offered through the University Center of the Mountains, located on the Community College campus. The Appalachian Regional Healthcare Medical Center is located in Hazard. The excellent medical staff and health care service providers are equal or above any you would find in larger cities. It is my pleasure to serve as President of the Hazard-Perry County Chamber of Commerce. Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of each month beginning at 8:30am in the City Hall Chambers. 🚙🏁 HAZARD, ARE YOU READY? 🏁🚙

Terra Trophy and King of the Hammers are bringing the excitement to downtown Hazard on TOMORROW, June 10 from Noon to 4 PM for a special Downtown Social! Main street will be blocked off from Taxi Alley to Gorman Bridge starting at 7AM.

Come check out approximately 30 rally and off-road vehicles, meet teams and sponsors, and get a preview of the action coming to Hazard this October with the Maxxis Tires 48 Hours of Kentucky Rally and Ultra4 Nationals.

This event is free and open to the public, so bring the family and spend the afternoon on Main Street.

We are excited to announce the city of Hazard is hosting a delegation from the The Brookings Institution and American Enterprise Institute next week. This group, which includes former Governor Chris Sununu and former Senator Heidi Heitkamp, will be here on the ground to learn about the good work we are doing in Hazard and the region as a whole.
