Today, Perry County joins our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

We honor the nearly 3,000 lives taken that day, the first responders who ran toward danger, and the countless men and women whose lives were forever changed.

Twenty-five years later, we have not forgotten the courage, sacrifice, and unity our country showed in the days that followed.

May we continue to remember those we lost, honor those who served, and never forget.

We would like to let everyone know that the Perry Central Track Team will be holding a track meet at Perry County Park on Tuesday, September 29, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

During this time, we ask all motorists traveling through the park to please use extra caution, slow down, and be on the lookout for runners and other participants throughout the park.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping keep our student-athletes and visitors safe, and we wish the Perry Central Track Team the best of luck at their meet!
