Congratulations to members of Red Wolf District Pack 1926 on earning the Messengers of Peace Advocate Award! This outstanding achievement reflects the Scouts’ commitment to service, and making a positive impact in their community and beyond.
The journey began after learning about the award from SHAC International Scouting committee, who shared the importance and global significance of the Messengers of Peace, Scouting America program. Inspired by the opportunity, dedicated den leaders stepped forward to guide their Scouts through the requirements and encourage them to embrace the spirit of International Scouting and service.
During the pack’s end-of-year celebration, John Brogan spoke to Scouts and families about the meaning of the award and its connection to International Scouting, Scouting America, and the worldwide Scouting movement. He highlighted how Scouts around the globe are united through service projects that promote peace, friendship, and understanding across cultures and communities.
Pack 1926’s Scouts should be proud of this accomplishment and the example they are setting as young people working to create a better world. Their efforts truly embody the Scout Oath and Law and demonstrate that even small acts of service can have a lasting global impact.
